01Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account, enrolling in any course or programme, or using the Codar Tech Africa website (codartechafrica.com), mobile apps, or related services (together, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
These Terms form a legally binding contract between you and Codar Tech Africa Ltd, a company registered in Nigeria, with its registered office at 43b Adeniyi Jones, Right House Building, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria.
02Eligibility & account
You must be at least 16 years old to create a Codar account. Applicants under 18 require a parent or guardian's written consent before enrolling in any paid programme.
You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information during registration and to keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities that occur under your account.
You may not
- Create more than one account per person without our written approval
- Share your account credentials with anyone else
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage Codar's reputation
03Course enrolment
Enrolment is confirmed once full or first-instalment payment has been received and verified by our admissions team — usually within 1–4 working hours of payment.
Codar reserves the right to refuse or cancel an enrolment in cases of suspected fraud, misrepresentation, or breach of these Terms. In such cases, any payments made will be refunded in full.
Cohort changes: You may request to switch to a later cohort up to 7 days before your scheduled start date, subject to availability. After your cohort starts, switches are at our discretion and will incur a fee.
04Attendance and Punctuality
- Students are required to attend all classes, both physical and virtual, and must notify their instructor and the Program Manager in advance if they are unable to attend.
- Punctuality is mandatory; students must arrive on time for all scheduled classes and activities
05Absence Due to Illness
- Students must provide valid medical documentation to support absences due to illness.
- Students must follow instructions and directives given by instructors and administrative staff of the institution.
06Reporting Issues
- Students must report any concerns or grievances to their instructor and the Program Manager. Self Resolution or inappropriate behaviour is not permitted.
- Frivolous reports will also be penalised.
07Unauthorised Business Activities
- Students are prohibited from engaging in business activities with CODAR Tech Africa clients or in activities that may conflict with the institute’s interests especially within the institution’s premises.
08Decorum
- Students must maintain decorum, quiet within the school premises and must not disturb the peace.
09Confidentiality and Data Security
- Students must maintain confidentiality and not misuse any data or resources provided by CODAR Tech Africa.
- Any unauthorised digital or physical interference with Company property will be severely penalised.
10Adherence to Class Schedules
- Students must adhere to the schedules for classes, including break times, and should not disrupt class with unauthorised activities.
- Class activities, including break times will be observed strictly.
11Respect for Learning Environment
- Students should maintain cleanliness and order in both physical and virtual learning environments.
- Smoking during classes or at CODAR Tech Africa premises is extremely prohibited.
12Respect for Institution staff
- Students shall accord Instructors, the Program Manager and other members of staff with due respect and maintain utmost professionalism both within the Institution’s premises and through all virtual means of contact.
13Respect for Peers
- Students must relate with their peers respectfully and maintain professionalism in interaction at all times. Comments and conducts and advances found to be disrespectful will not be tolerated.
14Integrity in Assessments
- Students must not engage in any form of cheating, plagiarism, or falsification of academic records.
15Professional Behaviour
- Students should maintain a professional demeanour at all times, refraining from inappropriate conduct or language.
16Use of Personal Devices
- Students should limit the use of personal devices for non-academic purposes during class times. All devices must be silenced during classes.
17Social Media Conduct
- Students must use social media responsibly and not post or share content that could harm the reputation of CODAR Tech Africa or its community.
18Romantic Relationships
- Students must avoid inordinate public displays of romance within the institution and maintain professionalism in interactions with peers.
19Respect for Property
- Students must not damage or remove institute property without proper authorization.
20Financial Integrity
- Students are expected to handle any financial transactions related to the institute responsibly and transparently.
- Students should send payments to authorised quarters only or ask direction from the Program Manager when in doubt.
21Engagement in Personal Activities
- During class hours, students are expected to focus on their studies and avoid engaging in personal activities that may disrupt their learning or that of others.
22Issuance of Certificates
- Certificates shall be issued only upon the successful completion of the student’s program, and subject to the completion of all required assessments and fulfilment of all necessary clearances, as a matter of institutional policy.
23Change of Course
- Requests for change of course will be considered only after the student has duly completed a Change of Course Form and made payment of the applicable Change of Course Fee.
24Deferment of Course
- Course deferment will be granted only upon the submission of a duly completed Deferment Form and payment of the applicable Deferment Fee.
25Internship Eligibility
- Eligibility for internship is subject to a three (3) month processing period, which shall commence only after the student has completed all final exams and has obtained formal approval for their final project. No exceptions will be made to this policy.
Refund Policy
26Tuition Fees
- Non-Refundable Deposit: Any registration or admission deposit paid is strictly non-refundable.
- Withdrawal Before Program Start: Students who withdraw at least 14 days before the official program start date may request a refund of up to 70% of tuition fees already paid (excluding the non-refundable deposit) only if the service is not availabl.
- Withdrawal After Program Start: No refunds will be issued once the program has commenced, regardless of attendance or participation.
- Institution-Caused Withdrawal: If CODAR Tech Africa cancels or discontinues a program before its official start date, students will be entitled to a full refund of tuition fees paid (including deposits).
27Internship & Job Placement Fees
- Internship and job placement processing fees are considered administrative charges and are strictly non-refundable, as they cover application processing, partner engagements, and facilitation efforts.
- CODAR Tech Africa does not guarantee internship or job placement outcomes, as these depend on student performance, completion of program requirements, and availability of opportunities with partner organizations.

- Failure to meet partner eligibility criteria,
- Poor performance in interviews, assessments, or other screening processes.
- If CODAR Tech Africa is unable to provide any internship or placement opportunities within six (6) months of program completion (excluding student-related disqualifications), the student may request a partial refund of up to 50% of the internship/placement fee paid.
28Instructor Changes & Service Delivery
- CODAR Tech Africa strives to maintain instructional stability and continuity throughout its programs. While instructors are not changed arbitrarily, situations may arise where a change is necessary to ensure students receive optimum service delivery, maintain program quality, or ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Accordingly, the Company reserves the right to change instructors when reasonably required, provided that the quality and substance of the service promised to the students continues to be delivered.
- A change of instructor by the Company shall not constitute a valid ground to request a refund under any circumstance.
29General Refund Terms
- All refund requests must be submitted in writing to the Program Manager and accompanied by relevant documentation.
- Approved refunds will be processed within 30 working days of approval.
- Refunds will be made only through the original payment method or official institute bank account.
- Refund policies are subject to periodic review and may be updated as deemed necessary by CODAR Tech Africa.
30Students' Absenteeism, Re-Enlistment, Course Changes and Penalties
- Students are encouraged to attend all classes regularly. In the event of absence, students shall be required to catch up using class video recordings made available by their instructors.
- The institution shall have no obligation to re-take or re-teach any class missed due to a student’s absenteeism; however, the institution may, at its sole discretion and convenience, choose to re-take such classes.
- A student who wishes to re-enlist in a new batch or defer their admission must submit a written request to the Program Manager through: programs@codarhq.com, and obtain approval upon payment of the applicable Management Fee of Thirty-Five Thousand Naira (35,000).
- A student who seeks to change their course of study must submit a written request to the Program Manager through: programs@codarhq.com, stating the reason for such change and obtain approval upon payment of the applicable Management Fee of Thirty-Five Thousand Naira (#35,000) .
- Failure to comply with the provisions of this section shall attract a penalty of ten percent (10%) of the applicable Management Fee and the said Management Fee.
Penalties for Code of Conduct Violations
Violations of the Student Code of Conduct may result in one or more of the following penalties:
31Penalties for Code of Conduct Violations
- (Written Warning/Verbal Warning): A formal notice stating the misconduct and outlining the consequences of future violations
- (Counselling or Training): Students may be required to attend counselling sessions or additional training to address behavioural issues
- (Suspension): Temporary removal from classes and institute activities. Could be physical or virtual or both
- (Expulsion): Permanent removal from CODAR Tech Africa, with the student barred from all institute activities
- (Loss of Privileges): Suspension of access to certain facilities, resources, or activities
- (Restitution): Payment for damages or loss caused by the student's actions
- (Legal Action): The Institution may institute Civil or Criminal actions against serious offenders
