Internship Programme — Codar Tech Africa

Internship Programme

Apply your skills on real projects with real teams. The Codar internship turns trained learners into shipping engineers in 3 months.

Codar Internship

From classroom to real engineering team in 3 months

The hardest part of starting a tech career isn't learning to code — it's that gap between "I know JavaScript" and "I can ship features in a real production codebase". The Codar Internship Programme bridges that gap, fast.

Top-performing graduates spend 12 weeks embedded in real engineering, design, or data teams — building real features for real users at our partner companies. By the end, you have shipped code, real teamwork experience, and a CV that lands interviews.

How It Works

The 12-week journey

01
Application & Match

Apply, complete a short technical screen, and we match you with one of our partner companies based on stack, role, and culture fit.

02
Onboarding Week

Codar runs a full onboarding week covering Git workflow, agile, code reviews, and remote-team etiquette before you even touch the codebase.

03
10 Weeks of Real Work

Embedded in your team. Real tickets, real PRs, real production deploys. Codar mentors check in weekly to keep you supported.

04
Conversion & Placement

~70% of interns convert to full-time roles at their host company. Those who don't get full job placement support from our careers team.
